Seafood Village

They are famous for their 避風塘炒蟹!! we always order it everytime we come. i never tried 避風塘炒蟹 at other places, so can't compare it. but this place gets $2.99 / lb. which is a very good deal!

十兵衛

we sat at the sushi bar~ since there weren't that many good sushi bar around here, this place were actually pretty packed and there was only one sushi chef that day, so the service was really slow... but sashimi were pretty good. the bill ends up to be $100~ for 2 of us which is a bit pricey, >x< i guess i'll eat at sushi bar only once in a long while from now on... but overall experience is good.

Joey's BBQ

Voted the Best BBQ in Town!! how could of i miss this place?! i actually didn't know until i heard this restaurant from friends. I was surprised there were only 3 locations in the East LA. the outside looks more like a house in a very country style way and inside is a lot smaller than i thought. We ordered the Family Fest for $55 which comes with 5 beef ribs and a rack of St.Louis pork rib. I am a BBQ lover and i like how Joey's put a lot sauces on their ribs!
桌上的小牛
i think it's adorable that they placed the Raise the Flag for Service cow on the table~ so cute~

Brewery Art Walk

it's my 1st visiting the art walk. i never heard of it before and want to give it a shot and see what's the event about. it's actually a lot bigger and different than i thought. but it's kinda creepy walking around the studios since it's inside the warehouse. the inside of the building makes me feel i am in a scary movie where zombies will jump out anytime. other than that, i still enjoy visiting each individual studio and check out the artwork by different artist.

Boiling Point

i used to come here a lot w/ my girl friends and kind got tired of it. but i craved for some hot soup late night and decided to come here since i haven't been here for a while and i noticed the menu has changed! maybe it's b/c the owner has changed, but i am not sure about that. i ordered the spicy beef hot pot and i think it's better than before.

Furaibo

we came here for happy hours~ they get 50% off on their fried chicken wings on weekdays. a lot people love their chicken wings, but i wish they could include drinks in their happy hour menu as well. since it's weekday, there wasn't a lot of people. i guess they didn't promo the HH very well. we also had some other small dishes, and the portion is SMALL. i end up not fully satisfied w/ the meal at the end.

Sugar Rush

I've always want to try the breakfast at this place. it took us a while to figure out where it is since the location itself is kinda weird. it's all around by factories and usually people won't drive by here unless for those who work around the area. the area looks kinda ghetto, but the cafe itself is very nice with a good amount of young crowd. i ordered the Cinnamon French Toast and it's very very sweet! it's good, but a little bit too sweet for breakfast. i would love to come back here again b/c i love the environment!

Dodgers Game

i got the Giant v.s. Dodgers ticket for free~~~ it's my 2nd time watching Dodgers. Last time i sat downstair in front of the roll. but this time we get VIP thanks to my friend!! i think it's gonna be my 1st and last time to watch a game with VIP seat since i heard it's about $100 per person to be VIP. the view was great + we got our own room and free food! the best part about VIP was we get to go to the Club pub located downstair and that was fun.

Nodaji

I must say i love spicy food. spicy beef soup and octopus noodles are the new menu in my Korean food list. i don't really like to visit korean resturant before because i thought BBQ and Tofu soup are the only thing they got until i found these! i guess I'll start to visit Korean restaurant more frequently from now on.

Ice Wine Party

it's always fun to have potluck for the weekend! we brought Pizza over to a friend house with 10~ others friends. i love the sweet wine after dinner and we drank over 10 bottles of ice wine that night. i also had the red velvet cupcake from Susie's Cakes Bakery. i am always not a fan of cupcake, but after trying many of it, i think i still like Sprinkle better even though it's very sweet compare with others.
排名: Sprinkle -> Susie's -> Porto's -> Crumbs

Coconut Bay

i came here b/c i want some drinks~ but i think they mess up my pink lady. it's a lot bitter when it should be sweet!! It gets open bar and happy hour after 10pm which is a plus! and pool tables free to play. we ordered salmon and duck red curry. but compare the food w/ President Thai, i think I like President Thai better! something i like about here is i love their mango passion cheesecake.

Grand Lux Cafe

4 ★★★★ for the ambiance and the service
4 ★★★★ for the food
$ 30 and below
we don't have any plan on where to go for dinner and we don't wanna go too far since we are going to clubbing at night. so we did a little research online and decide to come here since it's location in Venetian. then we found out it's right next to our hotel elevator! so easy to find and convenient! there's also Grand Lux in Beverly hills, but it's my 1st time trying it. the interior is kinda like Cheesecake factory. we ordered spicy calamari salad, chicken tomato pasta, and BBQ chicken pizza. all of them taste really good and i love the pasta! 4 of our girls shared and the bill end up to be $64 plus tax&tips which i think it's pretty cheap with good food!!!
Creme Brulee Duo
we love this place and we came back again after clubbing since it opens 24 hours!! we came for the dessert this time. i never tried a chocolate Creme Brulee before and it's taste very good, especially with whip cream. but it kinda gets too sweet after a while, so i still like the original one better. i would definitely recommend this place!

Bellagio Buffet

since it's Easter weekend, the price is higher than it would normally cost. i paid $30 for the brunch. i finally get to try Bellagio's buffet and not Wynn's. but i think nothing is really impressive here. they get crab legs and prime rib like other buffets would have. we waitting until 12pm for their lunch selection. only sushi came out and it's not very good according to my friend. however, i do like their dessert section. they get mint chocolate cake which is something different. Maybe Wynn is still better because of the Creme Brulee and the gelato. but it's good to try something new.

after brunch, we went to the garden and shop around Crystal. more stores opened than last time i was here. although it was a very short trip, 2 days and 1 night, i had a lot of fun. the only sad part was i was planning to see some shows at night. but all of them get cancelled due to the high wind...

Venetian TAO

i went to Vegas for Easter weekend!!! my girl got a free room for us at Venetian. So we went at the last minute. i never lived in Venetian before and nothing is better than the free room!! we left LA around 6:30 am and it took us about 3 hours to get there. We head straight to Bellagio around 10am for brunch!! we check in the hotel around 3pm and i love the room! it's so cute with the little stairs that divide the room in between and i am glad we are in Venetian b/c of TAO! we can just hop into the club at night! we went around 11pm and TAO was really crowed. i guess all Vegas club are always crowed! thanks god we don't have to wait in line since we are on the guest list. I like TAO a lot, but I hate it's too small and always packed. we only stayed there about 1 hour and left b/c it got supper crowed where it's so hard to move in the dance floor.

Random

hehee~ babe took me out since i was whining about it all weekend~ yeah~ i won~ we visit a park near Irvine. it's actually a private park that's for the resident only. i don't know what is it called. we walked around and saw people boat padding in the lake. i want to go boat padding too, but we don't know how to get to the other side. maybe it's for the resident only and does not open to the public. but it's a nice area to take a walk in the afternoon. babe i ♥ u
