Kite Festival

we went to redondo beach afterward just for fun. it's annual kite festival and it's nice to visit when the weather is good.

we went to farmer's market around beverly hills. but it's kind small and not much food vendors, so we picked a restaurant and had lunch there. we were thinking about Larchmont Bungalow, but there were too many people. so we tried Le Pain Quotidien instead b/c it's next door and the atmosphere is nice. i had the grilled chicken w/ wild rice. it looks appetizing, but the rice is ice cold. i was expecting a warm entry, but it was a salad instead...

Breadman

1st time experience with the breadman. the toast is finally edible after 3rd time trying. but still not good enough... sign....
