Cheese Strawberry Pie

I try to make cheese cake again. This is the easy receipt that my friend told me which only take 5 min to make a cheese cake!! After mix the cream cheese with gelatine, the cake is done after refrigerated!! But I accidently put Almond syrup instead of Vaillan. so the cake turns out to taste not like cheese... 0rz

Original Pancake House

I heard this place from my friend. The 1st time coming here, the food portion surprised us!! It was HUGE!! 1 order of pancake comes with 6 pieces and the omelette was so huge that's even hard for a guy to finish it. I can never finish for what I ordered even though i was really hungry... But I love this place b/c the food always taste great and fresh!! 2 orders end up around $20 which I think is not bad for the portion.

Korean BBQ 炭鄉村

We went to eat at all you can eat BBQ after snowboarding @ Mt.High. I've eat at this Korean BBQ for couple time, but everytime I get upset stomach after eatting... i guess it's b/c i ate too much... they have better selection of food than before which comes with beef tongue, steak, pork belly, squid, and shrimp + unlimtated tofu soup & steam egg with $20 pre person. everybody comes here for the beef tongue, but i think there are better BBQ around the area...

Little Fat Sheep 小肥羊

I haven't eat at this place for a while. since it has been raining this week, it's good to have some hot pot since it's so cold. it's my 1st time trying at this new location, the place is cleaner than the other one. but this time we didn't get the bread we ate last time... the bread was really good, but i guess they don't offer it here which is a little disappointing... but the soup base is good, so is the food.

Lunch Buddy

This is the lunch food from LUNCH BUDDY we used to eat at company. But we no longer have it since the chef when to coooking school, that's why he won't be able to do lunch w/ us anymore. It actully taste pretty good, but the food doesn't have a lot of variation. so all the co-worker kinda get tired of it after a while... But I kinda miss LUNCH BUDDY now. too bad he is not coming back.

Today we finally tried the tempura place we've been curious about. It's a place that sales nothing else but only tempura. Since it's a tempura place, we think it must be really good and it did not disappointed us at all! It has tempura bar where the chef serves you right off the grill. So we decided to sit at the tempura bar. We picked the combo $25 that comes with shimp, veggies, fish, squid, scallop and eel which is enough for 2 of us to share. I think eel & scallop tempura are the best! after eatting, we saw the special menu that has uni tempura!! Maybe it's something we will try next time.

Ondal

it's my 3rd time eatting Ondal! this place was recommend by my korean friend and it was a fairly small restaurant, but it has very good spicy crab soup. we come here again for a friend b-day. We tried the beef soup this time which is a lot more spicy than the crab soup. But it taste great too! I like the spicy crab soup b/c in the end it comes with noodles and fried rice. I love the fried rice although I always end up too full to finish the rice. But i would definitly bring my family here for dinner!

Todai Buffet

I haven't eat Todai for a long time. Since I think its really expensive, i don't think it's worst coming here. But we get buy 1 get 1 free coupon for thursday night, so I took my mom to Todai buffet. Maybe it's because i haven't had Todai for a long time, i think the food here is not too bad. They get some decent sea food, carb leg, oyster, and shrimp cocktail. I was suprise to see oyster here. But it's doesn't taste that great though...
since the coupon require to buy drinks, 2 people end up paying $38 inculde tax. which is ok~ but i would only come here with the coupon.

Shin Okinawa Izakaya

after recommended by a friend, we decided to try out this new place. the menu sure is different than other places... which makes us confused!! most of the food we saw here are new stuffs that we never ate before. so we pick something normal to stay on the safe side... but i think the portion is too small and it's a bit over priced...

JJ Bakery

ah~~ i love sweets~~ all kind of sweets I would eat! But I've eat sooo many cakes from JJ Bakery and kinda get sick of it... it's still very good!! but i just wanna try something new other than this place... the place is always busy and the dinner food is not bad either!

Lucille

ha I finilly get to eat what I've been craving for a long time!! i heard Lucille has good BBQ and always wants to try it. so we went celebrating a friend's farewell at the restaruant!
after heard so much things about this restaruant, i have high expectation of this place. the protion was big and overall the food is pretty good! but i wish their BBQ would be more grilled and have more sauce! like how Tony Romas did. But 1st time experience is not bad, and definitely a place for big group of people.

New Year Trip @ Big Bear

i went to Big Bear again~ drove up here right after work, and no traffic at all! but i didn't do much of snowboarding.... just relax in the room and rest~~
we watch TV as we count down in the cabin. 3..2..1.. happy new year and cheer with the beer in our hand.. 1st time celebrate new year inside on big bear and it was fun. too bad i forget my camera and didn't take any picture during the trip.....

X'mas Trip @ Vegas

It's my 2nd time this year at Vegas, but 1st time spending the the X'mas Eve at Vegas! We live at Hilton Resort! the place is really nice comes with 3 rooms and a kitchen.

we went shopping at the new LV center and the building is really cool~ although it's really big, but it's still a little empty since it's just opened last weeked. so it's pretty brand new...

then we went for the buffet. Studio B @ M Resort

we spend waiting in line for 4 hours!!!! that's the longest time I ever wait for a buffet... the food is pretty good which comes with crab leg, oyster and all you can drink beer/wine. but there were too many people because I think it's a new buffet... and cheap too... $25 per person.

Flemings Steak House

We had a company X'mas dinner at Flemings Steak House @ South Coast Irvine . This year we did not have a big x'mas dinner with the whole company, but instead, we had a smaller party with the production department. The dinner was good but wayyyy too expensive I think. We had a soup, 2 appetizers, 3 sides, and a dessert. the meal ends up $280 for two of us!! I had a middle-well Filet Mignon and the meat was cooked very hard. I do like the grilled taste, but it's not as soft as a filet suppose to be.

I love their hot chocolate cake! it comes with ice cream on the side and it taste great! I got to try different food with other people, but I think I won't come back there again with the price we are paying.... but no doubt, I had a great night!!!
