月子中心

小Eason竟然提早一天出來。9/22出生，9/25入住月子中心。這次打算喂母奶所以一開始就很認真的Pump.第五天好不容易pump到60ml。照張相紀錄一下。沒想到接下來幾天我就增加到120ml,最高紀錄一次180ml,現在全母奶沒問題囉～實在是太感動了...Eason你真幸運，哥哥小時候都沒喝到幾口....想親喂的媽媽一定要堅持啊～

1st Disneyland

this year, papa's company went to disneyland for their trip. The dinner was host at the hotel buffet style with prim ribs and others, but it didn't really impress me.  I wish we could of went to Morton's next by.  We stayed at Sheraton for 1 night and visit the park the next day.  Luckly, i can bring my baby for free!   it was a lot of work taking baby around, waiting in line, and riding the ride at same time.  We went around 11am and stayed until parade ended.  we only get to ride 3 rides... winnie the pooh, perter pan flight, and spinning cars.  all very short, but really like the pooh ride.

Halloween @ Bass Pro

Free event at the shop. it's our baby's 1st Halloween and i found out that bass pro offers free halloween picture, so we stopped by for picture time. i always pass by the shop on the freeway, but never had a chance to visit inside. this place is huge and a lot of things to see. they also have free carousel ride. a fun place for kid!

JCP Portrait experience

Got an amazing deal online for only $20 for 16"x 16" gallery warp including session fees. we went on sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. since we had an appointment, we only waited 5-10min. for our photo taken. they have 3 people in the studio and i feel well accompanied through out the photo session. our photographer took about 20 shots with many poses on 2 different backgrounds.  photographer is nice and entertained our baby during the shooting. the picture turned out great, but of course they were trying to sell us the digital CD image for $90 bucks and $7 a sheet!  i don't blame them and wish i could buy it too, but $90 is just insane.  We finished within1.5 hour and overall experience is good.  i would definitely recommend JCP for family picture, but maybe when i have another deal! 

7th Solid Food: Gerber Pear

He is doing fine with prepacked solid food and his rash is much better compare to before. He is still on #1.  

6th Solid Food: Organic Carrot

i gave him carrot again. this time i brought from Gerber.  i only tried few spoons and he looks ok. he is being active recently and gets hungry fast. but  i don't wanna give him too much since i afraid he will have allergy.  he cried when he saw i put it away and want it more. haha~ so cute. so far, he is doing pretty good with solid and willing to eat whatever i gave him.

5th Solid food: Organic Apple

i tried to give him fresh apple and scraped with spoon. but it's kinda sour and he doesn't seem to like it.  the scrapping didn't really work b/c the apple pieces still too big and he split it out afterword. so i tried Gerber apple baby food.  he is doing much better.  i guess maybe fresh food is too raw for him, so his tummy can't tolerate it?

4th solid food: Organic Yam 地瓜泥 (過敏)

i want to give my baby as much as he need for solid food. i stick with organic food and got organic yam from Sprouts. i steamed it with rich cooker and blended it with rice. but his started to have rash around his mouth after eating it the 1st day. just like lettuce.  he should be old enough to eat solid food, but perhaps his tummy is just not yet ready for it?

Gerber Rice Cereal (過敏)

when my baby is 5 month old, i gave him rice cereal and he had rash. so i thought maybe he is allergic to rice cereal.  but doctor suggested us to give him rice cereal since baby needs a lot more iron than before. so i tried again when he is 7 months and his rash came back. so maybe i'll try organic oatmeal latter.

3rd solid food: Organic Cabbage

i found out Nijiya market sells organic vegetables and they have cabbage. Great news! i brought it for my baby and blended it with rice. i fed him 2 days and his face was ok. i can see a little bit of redness, but the rash didn't come out. I don't want to give him too much like carrot last time. overall, i think cabbage is the best one so far. :) 甘草水 did not work for my baby~  he had rash after 3rd day from drinking it... then i tried soy formula~ didn't work either.

2nd solid food: Organic Lettuce(過敏)

at 6 month and 2 wks, I got the organic lettuce from Trader Joe and hoped his tummy can tolerant it. since my baby is sensitive, i make sure not to give him to much solid food and only one at a time. but his lips and chin start to have rash again after i fed him the 1st day. so i stopped feeding him the 2nd day, but the rash continued for 1 week. The Chinese doctor suggest us to give him some 甘草水去胎火. so we will give it a try and see if it'll get better.

since our baby is still small, there aren't many restaurant that are BABY friendly.  this place just opened recently and i am urged to try it!  since it's newly opened, the place is clean and spacious, but mostly are booth and only suitable for 4 people which is understandable b/c it's good for single family. But we came with friends and they don't have many seating for large group.  we asked the waiters if they can arrange 2 booths into a large table and they give us a face.  The waiter definitely need more training.  but the owner was nice enough to help us out. the owner is very thoughtful and know how to treat his customers! Thumbs up!  i do not expect their food to be good since we are not here to eat. so i ordered the waffle and it was edible. better than i expected.  i would probably come here again when our baby is old enough to play at the playground. but they do charge $10 per kid.

he grow 2 tooth at bottom when he is 6 months old.  i need to give him more nutrition/solid food so he can grow bigger~~

1st solid food 紅蘿菠泥(過敏)

my baby's rash is much better after i switched it to similac alimentum. i started feeding my baby rice cereal when he is 5 months old. i brought Gerber, but after eating it 4 days, his face started to have rashes again. so i started cooking my own rice cereal and he was doing fine.
At 5 month and 3 wks, i made carrot and blended it together with rice. i only fed him a little bit for 3 days and his face looks ok. so i continue to give him more.  His face started to have rash really bad on the 4th day. so i am pretty sure he is allergic to carrot.  After searching online, people said although most doctors recommend carrot as a 1st solid food, it's also a very commend food that baby will be allergic to.   Now i believe a lot of baby rash has to do with food.

after reading reviews online, i decided to buy this one.  There are many pros and cons, but i still like it b/c the design is very cute.  I was excited to try it on the 1st night and thought i got a defective one b/c i can't see the mist after turning it on and our gauge did not change a bit.  Finally after 30 min. i can see mist coming out of it and i can feel the difference in room. it works great, but took a while to get the job done... i guess you get what you paid for. other than that, i am still happy with it b/c i love the design.

Honeywell Humidifier
we got it during clearance for like $20 bucks. it does the job, very easy to clean, just very noisy. there are 2 fan power you can switch to. The bigger fan is very noisy and the small fan doesn't seem to humid the room much.. there's a filler inside need to change every couple months which is no big deal.  after using it for 4 month, it's still in good condition, but we decided to change it b/c it's just too noisy.

Iron man 3

finally have some time to watch the movie after the baby. i like #3 better than 2.  i really don't think the enemy in #2 is worth fighting.  the character is not strong enough and not good looking~ lol~ don't know if Iron man is going to have #4 or not.
