i came here for the squid ink pasta~~ i order the shrimp w/ scallop black spaghetti w/ lobster sauce. i can't really taste the squid ink since the sauce is too strong. i also tried the monk fish w/ risotto~ interesting~~ it tasted just like regular fish fillet.
we ordered the tiramisu, creme brulee, and bread pudding. the dessert is okay~ i had better one at other places.

i came here for our department dinner. when i heard we are going for chicken & waffle, i was like... r u kidding me... it looks so cheap and normal.... but i heard it's rated #1 fried chicken in the Cali. then it makes me wanna go check it out. the place just looks like Denny's, very family style restaurant. i ordered chicken w/ waffle along with mac&cheese, greens, potato salads, and candy yams. to be honest, after having one bite of the chicken, i thinking the rating is off~~~ it's a bit too dry for me and the meat is too hard. i think even Chick-fil-A is better. but i would recommend their sides. i like their chicken liver and giblets. love the giblets!! they had it deep fried and it's yummy. probably the reason that will make me come back. their waffle is just average. it's not as crunchy as i expected. but it got a special taste to it.

Iron Man @ Gold Class Cinema

more free stuff on B-day!! Gold class cinema gives you a free ticket on your b-day when you become their member online. I think it was insane when i heard the ticket is $22 per person! but after visiting it, i think it's definitely worth the money to try on special occasions.
after you get your ticket, there will be a guide waiting for you when your take the escalator down to their lounge area. you will be sited for some drinks and they will take you inside the theater before the movie starts. what an experience! the seat was in individual couch and it was so comfy~~~ they also provide blanket and pillow~ aww~~ makes me feel like home. we ordered fired calamari, Beef Burger, and portobello slider. since we went on Tuesday, the food menu was 50% off!! the food was ok~ it's the experience that matters. there's also a service button right next to your seat if you wants to order more. it was a great date and i had a great night!! luv Gold Class Cinema!!

Creme De La Crepe

we accidently found this little store inside the Pasadena shopping alley. we just want to come for window shopping, but this crepe place just ran into our plan. it's a little lovly cafe and i just can't avoid it after i saw it~ ♥ ♥ ♥ i ordered a banana, coconut crepe with nutella. it was good! i think i enjoy french style crepe more than taiwanese style now. especially just crepe over sugar power with lemon. i think it's the best!
