1st Disneyland

this year, papa's company went to disneyland for their trip. The dinner was host at the hotel buffet style with prim ribs and others, but it didn't really impress me.  I wish we could of went to Morton's next by.  We stayed at Sheraton for 1 night and visit the park the next day.  Luckly, i can bring my baby for free!   it was a lot of work taking baby around, waiting in line, and riding the ride at same time.  We went around 11am and stayed until parade ended.  we only get to ride 3 rides... winnie the pooh, perter pan flight, and spinning cars.  all very short, but really like the pooh ride.

Halloween @ Bass Pro

Free event at the shop. it's our baby's 1st Halloween and i found out that bass pro offers free halloween picture, so we stopped by for picture time. i always pass by the shop on the freeway, but never had a chance to visit inside. this place is huge and a lot of things to see. they also have free carousel ride. a fun place for kid!

Comic Con

1st time attending comic con in san diego. i've been to anime expo many time in OC, but never in comic con. thanks to my friend who had a vendor over there, so i got a chance to visit it. i felt there's more games, variety shows, TV dramas, toys instead of Japanese manga. we had india lunch buffet around the Gaslamp area since it's really close and dinner at Trattoria Fantastica in little italy afterword. i had the spicy shrimp spaghetti and it was pretty good. but i want to try the restaurant next door. the interior look so much fun.

Hollywood bowl

it's my 1st time watching the firework at hollywood bowl. they have concert for the 2nd half and firework at the end with orchestra. we brought food and drinks and enjoyed it during the show.

San Diego 1 day trip

we visit the Cabrillo National Monument and Old Town Historical Park. since i been to SD so many times, i think there isn't much new to explore. but the scenic is nice and worth another visit.

Hollywood block party

5/19 for 3 hours only from 10am-1pm. freebies for cal. residence, show ID to attend. i attended the chinese theater tour which was short, only 30 min, but we wait in line for 30 min. i was planing to go to mademe tusssa, but i was too late and they were not allow any more people. sucks~~ they should be more generous and make it a full day event.

Lakers v.s Jazz

3/18 @6:30 pm. 1st time watching NBA at staple center. we sat on row 10 behind the basket ball rack. i thought it's that's close enough, but i still feel a bit far from the player. and too bad we can't bring DSLR. Lakers end up lost.

1/19 玉珍海產

本來想吃另一家, 不過有點遠, 這家是司機大哥推薦的海產店, 又在港口旁, 就換這家吃看看, 沒想到生意真不錯
曼波魚, 有看別人推薦, 一直想吃吃看. 肉質真的很特別, QQ的很彈.
回家時在火車站買了池上便當吃

1/18 綠島

第3天早上就搭船去綠島. 真不虧是東北季風, 晃到我想吐... 回程趕快去買暈船藥... 太恐怖了...
綠島package也是在網路上買的$3800. 兩人包住宿,機車,浮浅+溫泉.
來綠島一定要泡溫泉, 可惜海底溫泉沒開放, 只好在遠處泡泡看海景.
晚上住統祥飯店, 房間還滿可愛的.

1/17 三仙台 & 小野柳

今年台灣好行有直搭三仙台耶~~ 實在是太讚了~ 好行真的是很方便, 大部分觀光景點都有停.
一到就看到許多大陸觀光客. 三仙台的8拱橋實在是太夢幻拉~ 我們走到島上, 來回大概要1個多小時.
逛完後又搭bus去小野柳. 我已經忘記真正的野柳長什麼樣子了, 不過小野柳風景也很棒.

1/16 台東行

終於要去我計畫已久的台東囉~ 說真的1個月前就在計畫, 不過出發前既然忘了印地圖... 真是糗... 還好到處都有指標, 沒有迷路.
台灣好行巴. 這兩天都是它帶我們到處跑. 超方便, 可惜沒什麼人搭, 一定要多多推廣阿!!
第一站; 初鹿牧場, 門票$100. 當天有點毛毛雨, 所以滑草區沒開. 不過園區滿大的, 值$100拉~~
民宿有免費腳踏車, 騎腳踏車去海濱公園
路上經過琵琶湖, 我當初看導覽不是很吸引我, 不過來台東真的要去琵琶湖. 超美的!!
晚上住沐泉民宿, 便宜又方便, 漂亮, 也很乾淨. 推~

1/ 15 義大世界

雖然想去遊樂園裡面玩, 不過不想付那$900百多. 其實外面shopping mall就很好逛了. 義大有模仿vegas的feel. 裡外都有點像.. 不過還滿漂亮的.

1/14 網購經驗談

這次回來前在網路上買的一些deals. 早上跑去雕塑. 不過沒想到只是電療, 沒瘦. 囧.... 感覺被騙了....
下午去做光療指甲. $399 超便宜的拉!! 不過做完小姐說卸甲要$499. 囧.... 感覺又被騙了... 哼~ 還好我有問人說其實藥水外面可以買的到, 自己在家也可以卸, 不然我$499就被坑了!

1/11 駁二藝術特區 & 六合夜市

回台灣第三天我就感冒拉... 可惡... 不過隔天還是跑去逛街. 駁二有很多藝術品, 還滿好逛的.
六合夜市還是一樣有很多觀光客. 這家燒肉不錯, 其他就沒什麼特別.

San Diego Xmas Trip

it's the 3rd time i attend my dad's company xmas trip. this year we went to San Diego for 2 days. we stayed at Paradise Point Resort and the place is beautiful. we didn't do anything on the 1st day except lunch at phil's bbq and had a buffet style dinner with prime rib at the resort.

the best i like about the trip is about the outdoor breakfast by the sea. i love the view and the place was lovely!
the next day we went to SD zoo. last time i was here was in 2005. i think the most fun part was the aerial tram ride. we also went on the bus tour that i didn't do last time. i think we actually got better views of the animals on the bus.

Getty Center

tourist sight! visiting getter again after couple years, i didn't know getty has such a nice view.

Bonfire & Grunion

we went for bonfire at the cabrillo beach. the beach is beautiful and very romantic with the full moon. we were planning to catch grunion that day as well, but we waited the whole night and no sign of it. too bad~

Mission San Juan

beautiful place. San Juan is the largest mission in the CA. the place make me felt i am in Rome! $8 entry w/ $1 off coupon. i am glad the place wasn't crowded w/ full of tourist. there's also a shopping district. We looked around and visited the san juan amtrack station which is right next to it w/in walking distance.

Phoenix

last day of the trip. we decided to stay here only b/c it's closer to drive back on our last day. there weren't very much to see here. we were planning to visit the Mystery house and called to check the hour in the morning and found out it actually not open. omg... another bad example when you don't get prepared... since we got no choice, we end up visiting the heritage square at downtown and drove around the area. we left around noon and stopped by palm spring for our early dinner.

Grand Canyon & Sedona

today is the longest drive of the trip. we spend 5 hrs driving from vegas to Grand Canyon and another 3 hrs to sedona, then another 2 hrs to phoenix. we arrived grand canyon around 12pm and the sun was out, but only for an hour or so. we can see and hear the storm coming while we were at the canyon. the storm soon became really big and windy that we can't really take the tour and enjoy the scenic. it really sucks after all the drive to be able to see it for so short. since the storm doesn't look like it will stop, we then moved on to sedona.
we arrived around 5:30pm since there was a bit of traffic on the way. then we found out red rock park closed at 5pm! omg... what a nightmare... i forget to check the park hours.... so we end up stopping at the scenic point by the freeway.
