JCP Portrait experience

Got an amazing deal online for only $20 for 16"x 16" gallery warp including session fees. we went on sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. since we had an appointment, we only waited 5-10min. for our photo taken. they have 3 people in the studio and i feel well accompanied through out the photo session. our photographer took about 20 shots with many poses on 2 different backgrounds.  photographer is nice and entertained our baby during the shooting. the picture turned out great, but of course they were trying to sell us the digital CD image for $90 bucks and $7 a sheet!  i don't blame them and wish i could buy it too, but $90 is just insane.  We finished within1.5 hour and overall experience is good.  i would definitely recommend JCP for family picture, but maybe when i have another deal! 

Dripp

an interesting coffee shop around the area inside the shopping plaza. i love the interior design and their coffee is quit unique. i had a Turkish coffee which is very extraordinary for me. i enjoyed their apple turnover pastry and enjoyed my time over there.

Le crepe cafe

it's a new place that just opened for crepe. they got live music which is a plus. the food is a bit oily, but the taste is good. i would definitely come back for their dinner for 2 for $39, served everyday~

PH chang

expensive chinese restaurant. i ordered orange chicken and sea bass. i felt like i am eating at home when sitting at the table. i like both entries, but i don't like the price. it'll probably my last time eat here.

Red Robin

free b-day burger at red robin. i haven't have red robin since college. they also give me ice cream sundae~ how cute!

The Habits

the 1st time i had the habits is at santa monica and i've always want to try it again. now it's grand opened in chino. the line was always busy all the way while i was there. i had the tri-tip sandwich and teriyaki burger. i love both~ i just wish they could cut the tri-tip into bit sizes, so it's easier to eat.

California Thai Kitchen

spicy wings for $0.50 each Monday only! discover this new restaurant and gave it a try on the hot wings~~ it's a small Thai restaurant located in the chino spectrum plaza. the place was empty and there was only 1 customer there on Monday. the wings are pretty good with sweet & sour sauce. but i don't think it's worth driving. the chicken was a bit uncooked and still pink in the middle. :S

The Boiler

Oyster Oyster and more Oyster!! i feel fat already... i love their house pan roasted soup with rice!! but i came here for the oyster this time. the oyster is not bad~~ but could be better~~ maybe the soup is still better. but the cashier did the bill wrong which is kind lame... =v=

Joey's BBQ

Voted the Best BBQ in Town!! how could of i miss this place?! i actually didn't know until i heard this restaurant from friends. I was surprised there were only 3 locations in the East LA. the outside looks more like a house in a very country style way and inside is a lot smaller than i thought. We ordered the Family Fest for $55 which comes with 5 beef ribs and a rack of St.Louis pork rib. I am a BBQ lover and i like how Joey's put a lot sauces on their ribs!

Yard House

M-F Happy hour until 6pm. decided to come here for the 1st time during HH. i ordered a onion tower b/c it looks really cool, but it didn't taste that great + it's kinda cold when we got it. i love their woodfire wings!! and the coconut shirmp looks good too! they get $6 drinks, 1/2 appetizers and 1/2 pizzas which i think it's a pretty good deal. i wish BJ or CPK have 1/2 off on their pizzas during Happy hours. yard house gets really noisy latter in the night. while i complained that their HH ends too early, the good things is we get to leave before the place gets too loud.

Buffalo Wild Wings

we went to get some wings for $0.50 each! they get happy hour on Tues.Wed.Thurs. with $0.50 each wing! we get spicy garlic, Asian zing, mango habanero, and Caribbean jerk. I like the mango sauce the best, and Caribbean jerk was really spicy to me. the wings are pretty good, but it's not like I'll go back for more when i want some wings. but it's worth to try for their happy hour.

RA Sushi

We came here after work for happy hours. Mon-Sat until 7pm. too bad i forget my camera, so borrowed photo from yelp... they get 1/2 off all appetizer and sushi, $4 cocktail which i think is pretty good. we get Viva Las Vegas, Spicy Tuna roll, sesame chicken, fried squid roll, crisp tofu, short rib, dynamite, chicken teriyaki, and shrimp tempura. sushi is more of fusion style, but what's good about happy hour is that we get to try a lot of things which i enjoyed a lot.
