Feng Mao Mutton Kebab

we ordered 50 kebabs combo + noodles + beer for $99. we latter figure out it's actually cheaper if we order it separately. what the heck... this place is kinds small and not a lot of people, but i would recommend their lamb kebab. too bad i didn't order internal organs and i think i'll come back for it next time.

Road to Soul

all you can eat bbq for $19.99
i love Korean bbq, but i can't have too much, b/c every time it gave me a stomachache afterword... orz.. they have beef rice cake which is something i don't see in other bbq. it's quite interesting, remind me of bacon wraps. they also have whole squid, beef steak, & intestine.

we end up paying $50 after tax & tips. when we stepped in, the place was empty~~~~ some more people came latter, but it's still not even half full. and their service was super slow since there were only 1 sushi chef + 1 waitress. =x=
everybody came here for the lobster sashimi~ but lobster is not all you can eat. they only give 1 lobster per 3 people. so we had 4 lobster that night. but after just had lobster at little tokyo, i felt Neptune's lobster was just okay. it's not as chewy as the one in little tokyo.
i was here for the stone grill. it took a while for it to show up. the beef was good, but i only had one bite. i was gonna to order more, but their service was really slow. inside my OS, i think it'll never come once i ordered it... also, crab leg, unlimited crab leg. i love crab leg, but the one they served was kinda salty and not very fresh. but at least it's hot!! i don't like how other buffet had it ice cold...
some highlights, i love their uni rice served inside live sea urhin. it's still moving while we were eating it. i also love their porridge and mussel soup. their salmon and tuna was not bad either. overall, i think i won't recommend it. for $50 bucks, i would rather go to castaway's buffet brunch with more varieties.

Grill Clam

another restaurant recommend by my friend. i normally don't come to k-town for food b/c i don't speak the language + their waiters mostly don't speak English... such a hassle when ordering orz.. this place serves grill clams only~ all different kind of clams. we order the median combo plates which is enough for 4 ppl. it started with steam egg & rice, followed by the clams , scallops, octpus, shrimps, and ended with the noodles. it's something new to try. but this place is actually running out of business and the day we went was it's last day~~ it's kinda sad when i saw it's not even full when we walked in.

Ten Raku BBQ

i feel like have been on a eating tour over the long weekend. kept eating all the way long. we order the set for $109. it's about right for 6 people to eat it. it comes with beef tongue, Kobe beef, prime ribs, pork belly, and steaks!! also including the soup and rice. but i was kinda sad that the set comes w/ no dessert!! the meat quality is pretty good. they also have 宮崎牛 for $99 for 130g!! what kind of meat is that!! anyway, i think that's way too luxury for meat...

Mountain 山

I finally get to eat the abalone chowder i've been heard about for the longest time!! it's the 1st place i heard that's sells abalone chowder! i think other resturants have it too, but i have never tired. the porridge is good as the others has told me and i like it a lot. we also order the chicken soup which taste great too! the place is really small and can only accommodate around 10~ people. luckly we went during lunch and it was not crowded at all. too bad the store in rowland height closed, or i would love to go for the porridge sometime.

Ondal

it's my 3rd time eatting Ondal! this place was recommend by my korean friend and it was a fairly small restaurant, but it has very good spicy crab soup. we come here again for a friend b-day. We tried the beef soup this time which is a lot more spicy than the crab soup. But it taste great too! I like the spicy crab soup b/c in the end it comes with noodles and fried rice. I love the fried rice although I always end up too full to finish the rice. But i would definitly bring my family here for dinner!
