i came here for the squid ink pasta~~ i order the shrimp w/ scallop black spaghetti w/ lobster sauce. i can't really taste the squid ink since the sauce is too strong. i also tried the monk fish w/ risotto~ interesting~~ it tasted just like regular fish fillet.
we ordered the tiramisu, creme brulee, and bread pudding. the dessert is okay~ i had better one at other places.

Feng Mao Mutton Kebab

we ordered 50 kebabs combo + noodles + beer for $99. we latter figure out it's actually cheaper if we order it separately. what the heck... this place is kinds small and not a lot of people, but i would recommend their lamb kebab. too bad i didn't order internal organs and i think i'll come back for it next time.

i love their beef hot pot! a lot people like their sesame onion pancake. i am usually not a fan of it, but their pancake is good.

The Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos

it's actually a shopping mall and there's a man-made pond right next to it. the construction is beautiful. remind me of the Mastro building in vegas~ lol~ there wasn't much people that day, i think maybe it's too far away from the city. but it's a lovely afternoon to hang out. the bridge also lights up at night which i think it's worth visiting. i just wish there are boats to row in the pond for visitors~

The Habits

the 1st time i had the habits is at santa monica and i've always want to try it again. now it's grand opened in chino. the line was always busy all the way while i was there. i had the tri-tip sandwich and teriyaki burger. i love both~ i just wish they could cut the tri-tip into bit sizes, so it's easier to eat.

i came here with my girls. it's located in downtown fullerton. i love the decor! they have a lot chandelier on the ceiling and it's pretty romantic. it's a cute little place to dining around fullerton. their menu selection is kinda small and pretty much old fashion, i ordered their shrimp scampi. it's pretty good and the portion is big. but i would not recommend their dessert. i had tiramisu and it's awful... it's a bit dry and no coffee taste.

Trader Joe's

Chocolate torte from Trader Joe's!
i added the bananas myself and heated it up in the microwave for 15 sec. Delicious!! the torte is very rich, but not as soft as the one i had in summit house. i also tried Trader Joe's panna cotta, opera cake, and tiramisu. Tiramisu is one of my favorite!!

valentine's dinner~ i ordered their Sunday dinner prix-fixe menu for $40 dollar. the bread was soso~~ i felt i would get it in a grocery store...
asparagus soup. i actually wanted their soup of the day which is the beef shoulder. but they bring up the asparagus soup instead....
foie gras.
they cooked with strawberry~ how unusual~ it brings out the sweetness~ interesting~
Duck Magret roasted with red wine. i love the meat, but the pear in the bottom is a bit bitter. i should get the sea bass which i was intended at 1st~ b/c i latter find out it's actually their speciality...
babe had the lamb chop~ can't go wrong with the lamb chop in French restaurant. it's always good~
the cheesecake souffle. a bit too sweet for me...
creme brulee. it has 2 layers, chocolate brulee at the bottom. love it!
the ambiance was lovely~ babe happy v-day~ ♥ ♥ ♥

Curry House

i love curry house's tofu cheesecake. but a lot of time they are sold out when i visit. they start to have a lot of new menu and this time they have Jambalaya seafood pilaf. anyway, i didn't order anything i said above. i stick w/ curry~ lol~ i think i love all the dishes curry house have including the spaghettis.

Road to Soul

all you can eat bbq for $19.99
i love Korean bbq, but i can't have too much, b/c every time it gave me a stomachache afterword... orz.. they have beef rice cake which is something i don't see in other bbq. it's quite interesting, remind me of bacon wraps. they also have whole squid, beef steak, & intestine.
